I know you're probably thinking... "not another shot of Horseshoe Bend"... Well, after my extensive photo shoot through Antelope Canyon, I was dead tired and decided to skip the sunset opportunity. That was until the clouds rolled in! My vision while at Horseshoe Bend the previous two times had left me wanting... wanting a few clouds to add to the mood of the scene. So I hopped in my car and hot-footed it off to the overlook and caught this shot as the sun was setting.
There's something intriguing about this shot. If you were to take each part of this image as a stand alone subject, it would be pretty boring photo. Yet the combination of the weathered tree, wispy sky, textured rocks and ocean waves makes for something far more interesting. This is a 6 shot panorama... take along the Pacific Coast Highway.
